    We’ll use the EZ-EKG field cards and give you the skills to rate and record ecological health, function, and pasture condition at key field sites.

    Featuring: Charley Orchard, 4th generation Wyoming rancher and founder of Land EKG, Inc. His methods are endorsed and/or used by Kit Pharo (Pharo Cattle Company), Dave Pratt (Ranch Management Consultants), The Savory Institute, Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, all Turner bison ranches (~2 million acres), and many others throughout the West, Canada & Australia.

    When: 9:00am to 4:00pm, Friday, March 14.

    Where: Piiholo Ranch, Maui.

    Cost: $30/person; $50/couple. Includes materials and beverages, …but bring your own lunch. The course typically costs $160/person, but the Hawaii GLCI and NRCS are underwriting most of the expenses to provide it at a reduced cost to you.

    What to Bring: Your lunch, one 5-gallon bucket per person (or a stool/chair); rain gear just in case, hiking footwear, paper/pencil, and a calculator.
