Sheep and Goat Care, A Beginner’s Clinic — June 1, 2013 on Big Island

The Hawaii Sheep & Goat Association invites you to a special Beginner’s Clinic on sheep and goat care.

Featuring Dr. Kim Kozuma, Deputy State Veterinarian and instructor at UH Hilo.

Dr. Kozuma will introduce and discuss basic care for a healthy herd. The sheep flock from Ohia Fields Farm in Ahualoa will be available for demonstration and hands-on experience.

Parasites and control
Hoof care
Tail docking
Ear tag application
Injections
Surgical castration
Disbudding

Registration cost is $20 for HSGA members and $25 for non-members.
