Summer Workshops: “Ag Survivor” and “Leaving a Lasting Legacy”

Announcing two workshop opportunities provided by the USDA’s Risk Management Agency and CTAHR- Cooperative Extension Service. Presenters include John Hewlett, Ranch/Farm Management Specialist, University of Wyoming, Jeff Tranel, Ag. Business and Extension Economist, Colorado State University, and Rod Sharp, Ag. Business and Extension Economist, Colorado State University.

The first workshop, “Ag Survivor” will provide presentations and activities designed to help gain a better understanding of today’s risk management tools and techniques. The second workshop, “Leaving a Lasting Legacy: Transitioning a Farm or Ranch to the Next Generation”, will provide information on today’s tools and techniques for successfully transitioning family operations.
